Academics

The French University of Egypt (UFE) welcomes students who wish to graduate with French Degree recognized in Egypt. They will get French Education in English in an Arabic-speaking environment with the possibility to learn French.  Students don’t need to speak French  to have  the chance to  be admitted  to  the  French University.

Education is offered in 5 disciplines: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Mechanics, Management, Social and Human Sciences, Applied Foreign Languages. These courses are offered at the baccalaureate (4 or 5 years), licence (3 years) and master (5 years) levels.

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs are delivered by French partner universities and accredited by the Supreme Council of  Universities in Egypt. The content and methodology of the courses are the same as in France. The teaching staff is mixed, composed of researchers at the cutting edge of their discipline, from partner universities and Egyptians. UFE students receive the same education in Egypt as if they were in France. The diplomas are recognized in France, according to the European organization of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate (LMD) programs, which opens them up to recognition throughout Europe and more widely in the world.

UFE students have the opportunity to spend at least one semester abroad. In reciprocity, UFE encourages students from partner universities to come and understand the Arab world and the specificities of new economies. UFE researchers are encouraged to collaborate with French laboratories, and doctoral students are enrolled in double doctoral programs between Egypt and France.

French and English courses are given throughout their years so that students are trilingual at the end of the cycle in 3 of the 5 most spoken languages in the world. This strengthens their employability abroad, particularly in Africa.

The objective of UFE is to deliver bi-national diplomas, recognized in France and accredited in Egypt.
