Vice President for Academic Affairs

 Administration  Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership & Program Quality
1- Provide strategic leadership for UFE's academic affairs, ensuring alignment with the university's mission, French partner requirements, and national accreditation standards.
2- Prepare the university's annual study plan and academic calendar, and oversee the recruitment, assignment, and management of part-time lecturers (vacataires)/ visiting professors to ensure full and high-quality course coverage across all programs.
3- Oversee the development, review, and continuous improvement of curricula and academic programs in coordination with Faculty Deans and French partner universities.
Student Affairs & Student Life
1- Lead the strategy for student affairs, ensuring a supportive, inclusive, and enriching student experience from admission through graduation.
2- Oversee student services, academic advising, counselling, wellbeing, activities, clubs, and extracurricular and cultural programs that reflect UFE's Franco-Egyptian identity.
3- Serve as the senior point of reference for student matters, addressing concerns, grievance,and disciplinary processes fairly and consistently.
Teaching, Learning & Faculty Support
1- Support faculty in delivering high-quality, student-centred teaching and in integrating French and European academic perspectives.
2- Foster professional development, mentoring, and continuous improvement among academic staff.
3- Encourage the effective use of learning technologies and modern teaching methods across programs.
Quality Assurance, Accreditation & Partnerships
1- Lead quality assurance, self-assessment, and accreditation processes with Egyptian and French authorities and partner institutions.
2- Provide methodological and operational support to advance all applications for accreditation and program equivalence for current and future programs to the Supreme Council of Universities.
3- In collaboration with the Vice-President for Research and Partnerships, maintain and deepen academic partnerships with French consortium universities, ensuring compliance with jointdegree requirements.
Governance, Administration & Reporting
1- Contribute to institutional strategy and decision-making as a member of UFE's senior leadership team.
2- Prepare, monitor, and present academic and student-affairs reports, plans, and budgets to the President and governing bodies.
3- Ensure effective coordination between academic units, admissions, registrar, and administrative departments.
Institutional Positioning, Competitiveness & Internationalization
1- Analyze the strategies, admission requirements, and recruitment practices of peer universities, and advise on UFE's competitive positioning and attractiveness.
2- Monitor emerging and innovative academic programs recommended by the Egyptian authorities or demanded by the Egyptian, regional, and international labor markets, and recommend new programs after assessing their relevance and feasibility.
3- Benchmark UFE's tuition structure, discounts, and scholarship practices against comparable universities and advise on positioning, in coordination with the finance function.
Education and Experience:
•Educational Background: Professor with a PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) from a recognized university; a strong academic record and standing as an accomplished scholar and educator.
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in higher education, including at least 5 years in a senior academic leadership or administrative role (e.g. President, Vice President, Dean, Vice-Dean).
• Demonstrated success in leading academic programs, quality assurance/accreditation, and student affairs in a multicultural academic environment.
• Experience working with international partner universities — familiarity with the French higher education system is a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:
•Review and process financial aid and scholarship applications in accordance with university policies and eligibility criteria.
•Verify supporting documents and maintaining accurate and confidential student records.

Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement HR strategies that are aligned with the UFE's mission and strategic objectives.
• Provide the UFE presidency with accurate and updated workforce needs and suggest the best allocation for human resources.
•Constantly modify and update HR practices and policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain top talent staff.
• Oversee the recruitment process for both academic and administrative staff.
• Organize adequate and efficient onboarding for fresh staff, including UFE values, policies, procedures, and workflow.
Education and Experience:
• MBA, master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English– Capable of communicating and writing in the two languages. Trilingual: Arabic, English, and French is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Human Resources position.
• Experience in a similar position in a Higher Education Institution in Egypt would be an important plus.

ACCOUNTS MANAGER

• Review all journal entries, general ledger postings, accounting instructions, and disbursement and collection documents.
• Submit quarterly reports on audit results to the Financial Controller on the 15th and 30th of each month.
