Certificate Requirements

Applicants will meet the following requirements

  • For the Engineering Master program, bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, ICT Engineering or equivalent will be accepted.
  • For M2 Applied Globalization: Bac +4 (Master 1 or baccalaureos level) in law, political science, economics, management, or related disciplines.
  • For Heritage Management Master program:
    • Semester 1 is open to students who have obtained at least a bachelor’s degree in art history, archaeology, geography, anthropology, and who wish to specialize in heritage and tourism studies.
    • Semester 2 is open to students who already have experience / training in heritage and/or tourism.
    • Direct admission into the second year (semester 3) is also possible for students who can prove they have a background in heritage and tourism equivalent to the M1 “Heritage Management” program.

Jury requirement

  • Each candidate to enter in M1 or directly in M2 (also for Applied Globalization) will present his candidacy with a CV + a motivation letter to both pedagogical coordinators (French partner university delocalizing the master’s degree and UFE). If necessary, an oral interview will proceed.

Language requirements

  • Computer Networks and IoT Systems Master’s program – English is the teaching language. A minimum English language level of B1 for M1 (1st year), and B2 for M2 (2nd year), or its equivalent is required.
  • European and International Studies, “Middle East” Track Master’s program – French is the main language of teaching so language level of B2 or its equivalent is required in French and level B1 or its equivalent is required in English.
  • Languages, E-Commerce, and Communication (LECCO) Master’s program – English is the main language of teaching so language level of B2 or its equivalent is required in English and level B1 or its equivalent is required in French. As Arabic is an important language for this program, candidates are expected to have at least a B1 level or its equivalent in Arabic.
  • Heritage Management Master’s program – English is the teaching language so language level of B2 or its equivalent in English is required
  • For M2 Applied Globalization: both English and French languages are teaching languages – B1 in French/English at entry (B2 expected upon completion)

Sources of Language proficiency test.

  • Preferable any Egyptian or international entity that gives language proficiency exams.
  • If any applicant does not provide proof of language proficiency he will take UFE language exam.

Applications deadline

For all programs applications will start from the first of June till mid-September except for LECCO Master program applications will end by August 31st.

Required documents for admission

Copy of bachelor’s degree certificate.

  • Copy of M1’s degree
  • Bachelor’s certificate (Applied Globalization).
  • Copy of bachelor’s degree transcript
  • Copy of high school diploma
  • Proof of language proficiency (or take UFE language proficiency exam)
  • Copy of the CV (in English or French)
  • Copy of birth certificate.
  • A copy of the National ID (for Egyptians) or Passport (for non-Egyptians).
  •  4 personal photos (4X6).
  • Copy of certificate of military service (for Egyptian males).
  • A statement of purpose/motivational letter (about 500 words for each graduate program selected) indicating the reasons for interest in the specific program, what you will bring as skills and/or experiences to the program, and how graduate studies fit in your long-term academic and professional objectives.
  • Two letters of recommendation with contact information coordinates (email, telephone, address) from people familiar with academic or professional background (LECCO program is not required).
  • Proof of long stay residency card (international students only).
  • certificate of the Defense and Citizenship Day (JDC) [French nationality students only]

All originals for the above-mentioned documents will be submitted upon acceptance in the program.

Admission & Selection Process

  • Apply online by filling in the postgraduate application and paying the application fees.
  • Provide a copy of all the required documents.
  • Initial Application Screening: check that all the required data & documents are provided
  • Interviews: conducted for applicants through the head of the applied to program.
  • Final Decision: Notification within 1week post-interview
  • Upon acceptance payment of first term tuition fees should be made and the original documents should be submitted.

Exchange opportunities

  • Languages, E-Commerce, and Communication (LECCO) Master’s program – There is a chance to spend the first semester of the M2 at the partner university. Places are limited (only one or two), and this opportunity is for top-performing students.
  • Computer Networks and IoT Systems Master’s program – There is a chance to spend one of the four semesters at the partner university (preferably Semester 2, 3, or 4).
