THE POSITION

The Director of Academic Affairs and Student Life is the interface between the university,
students, the Ministry, and families for all administrative matters related to schooling. His/her
missions are multi-faceted. He/she is in charge of leading a department of academic affairs and
student life whose missions are

– to welcome students and provide them with the information necessary for their
integration into the university community and for their orientation
– to accompany and organize the student’s journey at the university throughout their
studies
– coordinate the activities of the different courses and standardize the administrative
procedures for student follow-up;
– Assist the Vice President of Education in accreditation procedures;
– centralize all data related to the training offer: degree models, data related to teaching
loads, statistics on student numbers, and exam results.
The Director of Academic Affairs and Student Life manages a team of 6 program officers and
an admission officer. Fluency in French and/or English is required. Speaking Arabic is required.
The applicant holds a higher education degree with proven experience in registrar and
administrative organizations. Commercial sense is certainly an asset.
The position is on our main campus in Shorouk, in Greater Cairo. The Shorouk city is well
located at 20 mn from the New Capital and New Cairo, 30 mn from international Cairo
airport and only 90mn from the Red Sea.
